This is the aperture technique we will be experimenting on, In the next meeting we will be learning how to create the circles in the background. You will need to bring along A4 paper, scissors, ruler and calculator.

Hahahaha. Hello again. Nice effect though. Maybe I shall give a few answers on this effect.

1st use the largest aperture your camera can get to. Best conditions around f1.2-f2.0. Not sure about f3.5(but that's what kit lens usually go up to)

When you're using manual focus, it's rather easy to do it. All you have to do is to blur the background.

But during auto focus. You need a subject, in which the subject here is the white thing on the right side. And just focus on the subject. The background would automatically be blurred.
