Okay focusing on the SYPA now, for those who realised, the SYPA consists of 2 competitions. The SYPA itself and the CDL Young Architecture Photographer Award.
| 3. | Participants who also wish to vie for the CDL Young Architecture Photographer Award in addition to the Singapore Young Photographer Award are required to submit a minimum of 2 images on the subject “Architecture / Buildings” in their portfolio of 6 prints. That is, their portfolio should consist of 2 images on “Architecture / Buildings” and 4 images on 3 or more of the other subjects stated in point 2 above. Well. the CDL competition is optional. For example, Let's say you have 6 photos and the photos cover Architecture Architecture Nature Still Life Abstract Children at Play You are eligible for both competitions. But if you have Architecture Nature Nature Still Life Abstract Children at play You can only go for the SYPA. AGAIN. the CDL competition is OPTIONAL. So if you don't have enough Architecture shots, it's okay because you're still going for the SYPA. That's just extra info on the SYPA. Okay that's all for today. Show you some photo I just took. please comment on it. thank you. taken at expo ![]() expo also somewhere i forgot |

one last 1 from me...

this photo seems really special. realize how the grass acts like a wierd shape photoframe that helps emphasis the focus of the big green healthy tree. it also seems like you are so small in the grass looking up at the huge tree and vast sky. it was taken in hortspot on jan 2008.
this photos are taken by me, zhiying, not yong qin. thought better be safe to have more photos

this photo is focusing on the dead flower below so the top flower is blurred. i feel that it has a beutiful aspective. it was taken at hortspot on jan 2008
this phot seems very barren to emphasis on how weak and fragile the tree looks without the leaves, its followers. it was taken at hortspot on jan 2008
this photo seems very special it has land water and the sky. it is taken in hortspot on jan 2008
