NEA exhibition

Our school has collaborated with NEA on the saving Gaia project. This event lasted over a course of 3 days. This event elaborates on the importance of saving mother Earth. The photos displayed depicts the cause and effect of mother nature.

Personally, the exhibition was rather unerring as many of our members tried hard to explain the pictures to the various audiences. This was a good interactive experience as we had to learn the ropes of speaking to different audiences at different times, with such a short practice session. Overall, we managed to pull through and explain to the audiences the values we wanted to instill in the photos. Be it a big group( mostly handled by Ms Yeo ) or just a few passer bys, we never hesitated to welcome them into our booth. It was a valuable experience as we would not be able to learn it in the textbook.

Good Job Guys!

comments on exhibition

On 11 to 13 november 2008, the photography club create a booth at suntec city exhibition hall to take part in the "saving gaia" project organized by the NEA. the main purpose of the contest is to raise awarenes of how the earth is dying due to pollutions cause by our fellow human beings. on 11 november, we started setting up the booth like building "structures" to hang our photos on. we also docorate the table with cloth so that it looks more attractive.

the second day, was the launching of the booth. VIP and other guest were there to visit the exhibition and our booth.

the third day was much more interesting than the second day. we get to practice our chrisma by introducing and bringing "strangers" to our booth. it was a good learning experience and really taught us how to communicate with others better.

Overall i feel that this exhibition was fun and enriching
